TetraPoland — PoC
TETRA on a radio with no touchscreen
A build for PoC radios with no touchscreen — the Hytera P50 among them. Everything is done from the keys: the D-pad, the PTT trigger, the talkgroup knob, Menu and Back. The same core and the same network as the phone version, but an interface drawn for a 240×320 display and for keys.
What it does
- Driven without touch — D-pad, PTT trigger, talkgroup knob
- Group and full-duplex calls, contacts, call log
- Messages with a phone-style keypad
- Alarm key: separate actions for a short press and a long one
- Networks alongside TETRA — BrandMeister, DMR Homebrew, YSF, FCS, M17 and NXDN, chosen with the arrows
- The hardware PTT transmits to the chosen network, not to the hub
